A new poll released by Quinnipiac University shows the race to move into Virginia’s governor’s mansion is tight! The results put Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe ahead of Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli by just a few points.
Voters say they rely on “honesty and trustworthiness” more than anything else when choosing a candidate, but are divided nearly in half when asked to pick the trustworthy candidate.
When asked about both the lieutenant governor and attorney general races, voters say they “don’t know enough” about many of the candidates.
Seems like election season in Virginia is going to be a tough, close race of personalities! Check out the full Quinnipiac study here.
